I've really enjoyed the food during both of my trips to T-Bones. The burger and chicken nachos were great, and the people in my party both times liked everything they had. The tenderloin sandwich in particular got raves. Mostly I like the atmosphere - it's very open, with a deck and garage doors. If it's a little chilly, many of the tables inside come with their own firepit that can be lit. I haven't been there when a band was playing, but it would fit in nicely with the relaxed vibe.

Food was very good. We had the ribeye philly, Chicago steakhouse chicken sandwich and a cheeseburger. All three were very good and will be going back again. There were many other things we wanted try so it was a tough choice. They also just started a breakfast buffet and omelette station on Sunday's. We got there at lunch time so will be going back to try it, heard many positive things about breakfast from others sitting around us. Service was nice, not over the top, but very friendly. Waitress was able to give suggestions on what to order and even what to top it with.

We came here on a Sunday afternoon. It was quite empty, and there was ample staff. Our server was not only rude and brash, but uneducated on the menu. It took almost 30 minutes for us to get our drinks and place our orders, and we were all highly disappointed in what arrived. My husbands pork chop was dry and lacked flavor, my chicken was seasoned with about a cup of salt {after asking for zero salt}, and the steak sandwich {off of adult menu} for our friends child was just a joke. The only saving grace was the cold wine inside of the attached market that we could bring to our table and enjoy. So disappointed - we were looking for a cute little place to stop after a day on the lake and this will most definitely not be it.

Food was terrible. Service was slow and unprofessional. Some of the staff were in sweat pants. Ordered a Caribbean jerk chicken sandwich. Got an insanely over cooked piece of rubber with a glob of melted cheese and no produce on the sandwich or anything. Unless you're a 50+ drunkard I wouldn't recommend.

The best dinning experience I've had in a long time happened the other day when two friends and I went to T-Bones. We were in the area shopping and I got on Yelp to find somewhere unique to eat. One friend suggested T-Bones. The weather was amazing so were able to enjoy a table outside on the deck. Setting could not have been more comfortable with the big outdoor chairs. We all LOVED what we ordered. I had a rib-eye, twice baked potato, and sauteed veggies. Coming from a meat market, I expected the steak to be perfect, and it was. I have never had a better twice baked potato. It was creamy and chunky all at the same time and the top of it was nice and browned. Both of my friends were more than please with their food, on ordering her go to tenderloin sandwich which she says is that best she has ever had. The service could not have been better. Attentive and quick with a great personality.. I was happy to hear that they have live music four days a week and plan to go back to check that out. It's a 35 minute drive, but well worth it!

09/13/14- hungry for really great casual food. T-bones we really do like you but please see below. Service: 5 Stars Thank you Ladies! Atmosphere: 5 stars Food: BBQ pork chops 3/8" DRY. You cannot possibly fix a 3/8" chop any other way unless you just show it a picture of a flame. 1star Chicken Spiedini: DRY ( was the kitchen overwhelmed?) 1 star Veggies- 5 stars Twice baked potato: 5 stars Cosmo: 2 stars Guitar Man- good music BUT at 96dB TOO LOUD! We were staying for drinks and desert but had to bolt, ears were ringing. Dude, just bring the volume down by 40% and you rock! OVERALL 2 1/2

Have never been treated with such rudeness by employees, and even the owner. I have in the past made multiple trips to the meat market for functions and just to grill out. But this time the service and treatment by employees was so sub-par, I will not be returning. The owner was yelled to back to help us and we inquired about an order we had placed and needed to pick up. All we were told was "I don't control the truck", and he simply walked to the back. No apology for being late, or any attempt to let us know any further information about our order. We were just left standing there. This was not the first time we had received poor service, there seems to be no care for customers nor accountability or desire to keep customers. When the owner or manager of a business feel it is okay to treat customers in such a way, they are guaranteeing they will not return, should not get any further business.

Great atmosphere the outside/inside patio was excellent.. The burger was fair little overdone nice portion.. Service needs to be tweaked had to ask for every drink napkins, silverware everything we needed we had to make a request for... They just weren't busy enough to have such poor service... Nice servers they just don't get it I'm always good about giving it one more try we will do it again soon to see if this was just one of their off days

OK, full disclosure, I live and work at Lake Lotawana, and I love this place. Having eaten well over 200 meals here, I think I can give a fair assessment of this little destination gem. There is so much to love I hardly know where to begin. Let's start with the food, never had a bad meal at T-Bones. Best burger I've ever had. Best steak for that matter. It's pretty much ruined me for any other steak place. Atmosphere, oh my. If you want to get away from the canned 'they all look the same joints', come here. Just what you would go on vacation for, lake resort laid back, bohemian, let your hair down, come-as-you-are, or dress it up - it's all good. If it's summer the outdoor patios seem like you are hanging with Jimmy Buffet down in Key West. And if it's chilly the indoor fire pits say Colorado ski lodge, beckoning you inside to warm your body & soul. The servers here are cute, friendly and work hard to get your order right. The bartenders are super, and if you are a regular, they know how you like your drink, too. The cooks make everything yummy. Jane & Rex are the hardest-working restaurateurs in the business. Jane is like your next-door neighbor, knows everyone, and always makes you feel at home. She knows music and lines up great bands for all ages. They even make room for guests to dance if you want. I have to say a little something about Rex. I have a special needs sister who I bring in for dinner every few weeks. Rex always makes a point of coming over to talk and joke with her, maybe even a little dancing. Makes her feel like a queen. This guy has a good heart, and he's a great chef, too. There is no place like T-Bones. Hey, where else can you buy fresh meat, a few groceries, live bait, wine, gourmet cupcakes, a cigar, listen to good music and take a painting class all in the same place?

Four times in a row it was amazing, even took my father-in-law there for Father's day. Love the patio and menu. Great steaks at great prices. However, I was a bit disappointed the last time I was there: first time I've ever argued with a waitress over what "rare vs. medium rare" was.

This place is terrible! Food sub par at best. My wife ordered crab they were out waitress suggested shrimp but then came back after she suggested the shrimp and said they were out of that too. We made her check to see if her 3rd recommendation was actually available before we ordered it. It was walleye which actually was not bad. However the twice bake potato was ice cold from being frozen and the salad was a joke. The owner was on hand never apologized or said anything to recognize the situation. Bottom line food is not fresh it is frozen Service was terrible could not get a drink. Ribeye Steak was fatty. And the Worst part is the outdoor patio is attached to a grocery store where you enter. They do all the cooking cooking in back of the grocery store and the whole place is filled with a haze of smoke from the spent kitchen fry oil. Not joking you can not breathe in there. My wife was shopping the very small wine section I was waiting wash my hands in restroom and just in that time frame My clothing had soaked up the hazy smoke in the atmosphere and we actually had to go home and change because our clothes and hair smelt like fry grease. Also, the Band was below average. I hardly ever write reviews so believe me this place earned it!!
